Honoring everyday heroes
Bringing the Changemaker Challenge to life.
BUILD’s mission is to use entrepreneurship to ignite the potential of youth from under-resourced communities and propel them to high school, college, and career success. They help students develop skills through the real-world experience of launching a small business.
Students’ efforts through the Changemaker Challenge will enable 3,750 young people to participate in BUILD’s Virtual Design Challenge which will help students nationally to explore critical world issues, gain 21st century skills, and develop empathy.
Creative Reaction Lab’s mission is to educate, train, and challenge Black and Latinx youth to become leaders designing healthy and racially equitable communities.
Student efforts through the World Needs Challenge will reach at least 5,000 young people through Creative Reaction Lab’s grant distribution to arts organizations. In addition, an estimated sixty young artists and designers will be supported as program participants in the Artwork for Equity Program.
DonorsChoose is the leading way to give to public schools. Teachers create projects requesting resources their students need to thrive, and donors of all stripes give to the projects that inspire them.
Students’ efforts through the Changemaker Challenge will help provide resources and support to over 500 classrooms across the United States with projects empowering students to impact positive change in their classroom or community.
EdLoC is a membership organization dedicated to elevating the leadership, voices, and influence of people of color in education and leading more inclusive efforts to improve education, especially for Black and Latino students.
Students’ efforts through the Changemaker Challenge will support organizations through EdLoC’s Boulder Fund who are empowering children and youth and addressing their educational needs and through innovative solutions.
Founded in 1998, Global Nomads Group (GNG) is an international NGO whose mission is to foster intercultural dialogue and understanding among the world’s youth.
As our long-term partner, GNG helps enrich the learning by connecting students throughout the Challenge using technology and storytelling to create videos, lesson plans, and webcasts during the school year.
Peace First empowers youth around the world to create just and peaceful communities by providing digital tools, mentorship, and start-up funding, and telling stories that celebrate their journeys and impact. Join their community: PeaceFirst.Org
Students’ efforts through the Changemaker Challenge will support 1,500 young people globally to actively address social issues they care about in their local communities through the Peace First Challenge.
