Why Bones?

Bones are universal. Bones are strong. Bones symbolize our common humanity. They are the physical evidence that individuals, people, ever existed. The bone laying is the intersection of art and activism, of education and action, and it will remind us that we belong to each other.

For every bone you craft, we'll donate $1 to support CARE as they rebuild lives in Somalia and the Democratic Republic of Congo - up to $500,000! Imagine how many lives we can transform, together! Learn more about the cause - and your impact - here.

Gather your clay, plaster, wood, fabric or other materials. There are countless ways to create a bone. Discover your technique!
