Shipping Tips

Send handmade bones to us!

Whether an indivual bone or a collection following an event, remember to send along your finished product.

As a host, it is your responsibility to ship the bones to us. Keeping this in mind: you may want to ask each participant to contribute $1 or $2 to cover the costs of shipping.

Bones should be shipped within two weeks of your event date so that we can keep a record of when to expect them.  Event Hosts: Please be sure to include the participant information sheets from the event. Indicate that it is part of the Students Rebuild Challenge so we know to include your bones in the count.

Package your bones to prevent breakage. We recommend wrapping them in newspaper and fitting them snugly in a box.

Bones should be shipped to our mailing address:

One Million Bones/ Students Rebuild
P.O. Box 30426
Albuquerque, NM 87190

Do you live outside of North America and want to send a photo of your bone(s) electronically? If so, we know shipping outside of the U.S. and Canada is expensive so you may want to send a digital photo of your handmade bone(s) to sr-photos@onemillionbones.org. Be sure to let us know where you're from.  Pair it with a personal story, a wish or other photographs of your bone-making event.
