Students Rebuild and DoSomething.org launched "Paper Cranes for Japan" to inspire young people to support their Japanese peers after the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Sendai. The challenge: Make and mail a paper crane, and trigger funding for recovery and reconstruction in Japan.
Working together, we are helping to rebuild stronger, safer, permanent schools in Haiti following the January, 2010 earthquake. The challenge: students and educators create a team to raise money—which will be matched dollar for dollar and dedicated to reconstruction. We're supporting four schools and thousands of Haitian students.
