Gracious Haitian gradeschoolers

Tuesday, August 16, 2011 - 09:16
The Institut Foyer du Savoir in Delmas 75, Port-au-Prince, is among the last Students Rebuild Haiti schools to break ground. As you read this post a crew of Haitian builders are assembling before sweeping views of the residential Delmas hills, preparing the site–and themselves–to start construction.

Meanwhile, IFS headmaster, Pastor Wilkesse Dorcinvil stopped by Architecture for Humanity's Haiti headquarters with a folio that needed our attention–a veritable catalog of Thank You notes that his summer school students have drawn for us. (Jury's still out on whether or not these were an assignment..)
